The brief

Aziz Al Banyan came to me in 2022 with a basic idea — a luxury womenswear brand from Riyadh, ready for a global market. The name was theirs: NADIA GIO. The logo was theirs. The conviction was theirs. The rest needed building.

We built the brief together. Concept, positioning, design language. Two years of considered development — fabric calls, fit blocks, supplier shortlisting, sample making, full collection development. NADIA GIO launched in 2025, ready-to-wear with worldwide shipping, a Saudi luxury house with global ambition.

Where it landed

NADIA GIO launched in 2025 as a luxury ready-to-wear house — edgy, minimalist, modern, true to the brief Aziz set out. Direct-to-consumer through nadiagio.com with worldwide shipping from day one. Based on Tahlia Street in Riyadh, designed for the international wardrobe.

The work is ongoing. Each season builds on the foundation set in launch, tightening the design language, expanding the categories, deepening the supplier network. A new Saudi luxury house, built season by season.

What we did

Full service from concept to launch. Brand brief and positioning developed with Aziz from a starting idea. Design language and full creative direction across the launch collection — the visual world the name and logo would live in.

Fabric and trim sourcing across European mills. Fit blocks built specifically for the brand. Manufacturing partner selection. Sample making, fittings, refinement. Production oversight from prototype through to delivery.

Photography direction with our external team for the launch campaign — concrete-wall editorial, full-length silhouettes, the considered restraint that gives NADIA GIO its visual voice. Two years of close work before the brand was ready to read in the global luxury market.
